Titan Florida LLC has an excellent opportunity for a Safety Supervisor at our Pennsuco Complex located in Medley, FL. This salary exempt position will report directly to the Director of Safety. The primary function of this position is to support the daily operations at our MSHA-regulated facility in Southern Florida by ensuring compliance with MSHA and OSHA standards, strengthening safety culture, and providing leadership presence in the field.

Responsibilities

Safety Compliance & Regulatory Management

  • Ensure full compliance with MSHA (30 CFR 56/57/58) requirements, including inspections, documentation, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain knowledge of state and federal occupational safety regulations and emerging standards.
  • Conduct regular workplace examinations and safety encounters.

Training & Safety Leadership

  • Deliver and coordinate required MSHA new-miner, experienced-miner, and refresher training.
  • Provide critical life- saving training including LOTOTO, CSE, WAH, and hazard communication.
  • Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and contractor orientations.
  • Coach supervisors and employees on safe behaviors and safety culture principles.

Audits, Inspections & Risk Control

  • Conduct routine site audits and inspections, issuing reports and tracking corrective actions.
  • Support safety committee activities and monitor progress.
  • Lead or support investigations for incidents, injuries, and near misses.

Contractor Safety Management

  • Ensure contractor compliance with MSHA requirements.
  • Review critical work activities, pre-task plans, and site-specific safety risks.

Safety Culture & Engagement

  • Promote visible leadership and safety as a core value.
  • Engage employees to strengthen reporting and hazard identification.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma and 3–5+ years of safety experience preferred, in heavy industry, mining, cement, aggregates, or high-risk environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations. 
  • Experience conducting safety audits, training, investigations, and regulatory documentation. 
  • Ability to work in industrial plant environments.
  • OSHA 30-Hour or higher credential; MSHA instructor certification a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, required
  • Must possess a current, valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record (MVR).

 Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • The role involves working in both office and plant environments.
  • Will need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) on site.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
